Jessica McGehee is a rising star in the Acadiana real estate industry. Seven years ago she joined the team at Van Eaton & Romero, the largest real estate brokerage in the region. Specializing in residential, commercial, and rental properties, "Jess" has quickly emerged as a major force in the industry with her understanding of the market, her keen ability to relate to her clients, and her experience in design having studied at Savannah College of Art & Design, with a major in Fashion Design. Jessica grew up as a Southern Belle in Savannah, Georgia, relocating to New Orleans with her family in 2005 as her parents worked with FEMA to rebuild the Katrina-ravaged Orleans and Jefferson Parish School systems, and later to Lafayette, LA following the birth of her children Mac (10) and Bach (8) & Josie (3). The daughter of an Air Force Staff Sergeant, Jess has lived in many areas of the world. She was born in Arkansas, spent many early years living in Phillippines, moving to Alaska and Oklahoma, and eventually settling in Georgia for elementary and high school. Jessica strongly believes there is no place like Lafayette, Louisiana, especially for raising a family and starting a business.
